Terms of service

These Terms of Service (the “Agreement”) govern access to the MatchStaff platform and use of its functionality (the “Platform”, “Service”).

MatchStaff is a free non-commercial matching platform for companies and IT specialists worldwide: publishing requests, algorithmic selection of specialists, contact requests, and messaging. The Platform does not provide employment, outstaffing, or HR consulting services and is not an agent, broker, or representative of the parties. No platform commission is charged.

The Service is provided “as is” during the closed beta. By registering and using the Platform, you accept the Agreement in full.

The Platform Operator is not a party to contracts, agreements, or deals between IT specialists and companies concluded outside the Service or as a result of communication on the Platform.

• The Operator does not guarantee employment, contract conclusion, payment for work, candidate fit, or successful project completion.
• Decisions on cooperation, rates, timelines, and work conditions are made by users independently.
• The Operator does not verify legal capacity, authority of company representatives, or accuracy of all profile information, except as provided by in-Service moderation.

• IT specialist — an individual posting a profile for matching (developer, QA, DevOps, UX/UI, etc.).
• Company — a legal entity, sole proprietor, or other authorized representative publishing requests to hire specialists.
• Administrator — an authorized Operator employee for moderation and Service operations.

The user agrees to:

• provide accurate data at registration and in the profile, and keep it up to date;
• comply with applicable law and not use the Platform for unlawful purposes;
• not post spam, malicious links, offensive content, or others’ personal data without consent;
• communicate respectfully in chat and contact requests;
• not bypass Service privacy mechanisms (including demanding contacts before a request is accepted);
• keep account credentials confidential and not share access with third parties.

IT specialists must additionally keep stack, rate, and availability current and pass profile moderation. Companies must publish accurate requests and not mislead users about projects or budget.

It is prohibited to post in profiles, requests, chat messages, and other Service fields:

• false information about qualifications, experience, budget, or company status;
• content that infringes third-party rights (copyright, trademarks, etc.);
• extremist, discriminatory, or pornographic material;
• advertising of third-party services and mass mailings without recipient consent;
• payment card data, passport data, and other excessive personal data in open fields.

The Operator may hide, reject, or remove content, restrict features, or block accounts for violations without prior notice when urgent measures are required for Platform security.

Contact details (email, messengers, GitHub and LinkedIn links) are disclosed to parties after mutual consent under the Service logic. Users are responsible for further communication and agreements outside the Platform interface.

Matching results are recommendations only. The final choice of candidate or project remains with users.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for:

• losses, lost profits, data loss, or reputational harm from use or inability to use the Platform;
• actions or inaction of users, including work quality, missed deadlines, and payment disputes;
• temporary unavailability, failures, matching or moderation algorithm errors;
• content of external sites linked from user profiles.

The Operator’s aggregate liability for any claims related to the Service is limited to fees actually paid by the user for the Platform in the last 12 months; for free use (including beta) — zero unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

Software code, design, trademarks, and other Platform elements belong to the Operator or rights holders. Users retain rights to content they post and grant the Operator a non-exclusive license to use it to operate the Service (display in matching, moderation, backup).

The Operator may amend the Agreement unilaterally. The new version takes effect upon publication on /terms unless another date is stated.

Continued use after publication means acceptance of updated terms. If you disagree, stop using the Service and you may request account deletion.

This Agreement and relations between the user and the Operator are governed by the law of the Operator’s place of establishment, unless mandatory rules of the user’s country of residence provide otherwise.

Disputes are subject to the court at the Operator’s location unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Pre-trial procedure: send a claim to support contact (Section 11); response within 30 calendar days.
